2009 CLUB H-C CHAMPION IS WILL MURPHY
Will Murphy powering to the Hill Climb Championship
The last of the three Club Championships were held on Sunday 4th October in perfect cool, calm racing weather. It was also the largest sign-on for a Championship race for several years which is always heartening. John Spillane, just back from his holidays took third place while John O'Carroll, finding some good form was second. But once again, the trend set by the other two Championship races was continued and another new club member took the honours. After scorching up the hill to finish 1m 09 ahead of his nearest rival, Will Murphy is the 2009 Club Hill-Climb Champion.
